Squadron 42 map and locations

Checked 2026-10-17

This page is a static location reference, not a mission-order map. Official system lore and development reports establish places without revealing the final route through the campaign.

Source review: RSI's Galactic Guide supplies Odin lore; the December 2017 studio report connects the Coil and Gainey to Squadron 42 development. Additional station names follow the secondary Odin wiki. Marketing filenames are not used as evidence of playable chapters.

Official lore where noted; station and jump-point details are secondary wiki geography, not mission order.

Development locations are not a mission order

RSI's December 2017 report discusses work on the Coil gas cloud and the slaver base on Gainey for the vertical slice. This is direct campaign-development evidence, unlike identifying a location from an image filename alone.

The official Galactic Guide and wider-universe star map describe the setting. They are not a complete list of playable campaign locations, a chapter sequence, or proof that every mapped jump point can be used in Squadron 42.

Questions I keep getting

Is there a Squadron 42 map?

There is official setting geography, but the cited sources do not provide a complete campaign route or chapter map.

Where does the campaign take place?

Odin, the Coil, and Gainey have published references. The story summary also places its opening at Vega II; this is not an exhaustive location list.
