Checked 2026-10-17
A page should answer one question with sources a reader can open. If the source does not contain the number, the page does not contain the number.
Source checks compare Steam release_date, price_overview, platforms, and pc_requirements with dated RSI announcements. The current review date is 2026-10-17. We do not claim to have played an invitation-only build.
Order of sources
Corrections go to [email protected]. A valid note names the path and a better source. The page then changes and the checked date moves. We do not pay for links and we do not take a review score we did not measure.
Screenshots are store images from Steam, used so the pages have a real frame of the game. Trailers are official YouTube uploads behind a click. The game's trademarks stay with their owners.
- First: Steam app 4045720, squadron42.com, RSI comm-links, and the RSI support article.
- Second: IMDb, Wikipedia, and the Star Citizen Wiki, named as secondary.
- Third: dated writer notes from the October 2026 session, quoted with a name. Player video from that weekend is not embedded.
- Never: a price, a day inside Q2, a console plan, or an actor fee that those pages do not print.
Questions I keep getting
How often are dates checked?
This build was checked on 2026-10-17. Release, price, and platform pages are refreshed when Steam or an official announcement changes.
Do you use AI to invent lore?
No. Lore on the story page is tied to the wiki or the official tagline, and conflicts are left visible.
